iSCSI is an interface that allows connecting to different virtual and physical devices via Internet or local network. Using iSCSI targets panel in DAEMON Tools Ultra you can use not only the devices on your PC but also any remote devices that were shared on iSCSI server.

To use remote devices, you need to perform several easy steps:

  1. Click on Connect tile in the main window, right-click the main zone and choose Add Server option from the contextual menu:

  2. Choose the name of the server or its IP address. Leave default 3260 port if it hasn't been changed on the server. Click OK to add a new server.

  3. The server was successfully added. You can see the name of the server and the connection status. Double-click on the server name to open the list of available targets. Each target has its contextual menu:

    • Connect option gives you access to the device. If you are connected to the target, this option will change to Disconnect. Also you can connect to target by double-clicking on it. If the connection is established, you can use this remote device like the one that is connected to your PC
    • Properties option shows short information about the target. Since DAEMON Tools Ultra 5.7, you can change Alias for each target in this menu.
    • Export settings options saves the information about target on your hard drive.
    • Refresh option checks the availability of a remote target.

    To remove iSCSI server from the panel, go to its contextual menu and choose Remove option:
